  • KSL Radio to broadcast select Utah Jazz games under new agreement

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz are coming to KSL.

    Well, sort of.

Utah's NBA franchise will broadcast select Jazz games on KSL NewsRadio 1160 AM and 102.7 FM under a new multi-year agreement with Bonneville International Corp., the Jazz announced Thursday afternoon.

The agreement will bring together the Jazz broadcasts with David Locke and Ron Boone on the Zone Sports Network, 1280 AM and 97.5 FM, in a simulcasted effort with KSL NewsRadio for a select number of regular-season games as well as all potential Jazz playoff games.

The Zone Sports Network will continue to air all Jazz games during the preseason, regular season and postseason, according to the announcement.

"Our radio and streaming alignment with the KSL platform for Utah Jazz games is a tremendous opportunity to bring our team to more fans over a much larger broadcast footprint," said Jim Olson, president of the Utah Jazz. "The Zone has been the top-rated sports radio station in the market, and this partnership with KSL's digital assets, equipment and experience will only further enhance the listening experience for Jazz and sports fans."

The Zone Sports Network will now be operated by KSL/Bonneville Communications. As part of this change, Austin Horton and Gordon Monson are no longer part of The Big Show.
