Very sad. One of the Jazz all-time greats.

Jazz have been losing a lot of people associated with the franchise recently.

My favorite all time Utah Jazz player and the reason I became a Jazz fan. When I was younger growing up in Iceland we only had 1 old game a week, and usually not a Jazz game. I was looking for a team to follow and saw the 1989 all star game when the Jazz had 3 players, Stockton, Malone and Eaton. The Icelandic commentator told the story of how he was working as a mechanic and he became my favorite player and the Jazz my favorite team. So very had he has passed, by all account a great and very vell respected man.

Eaton was one of the good guys. Several centers said he was the hardest player to go against during their generation.
