  • Official trade thread

The NBA's trade moratorium will end on Monday, November 16th, at noon ET, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Most NBA player/team option decisions have to be made Thursday by 5pm ET.

We have an agreement on the first trade of the 2020 NBA off-season:

    Los Angeles Lakers get:
    Dennis Schroder $15,500,000

The Lakers are making the deal with the strong belief that they would be losing Rondo in free agency, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times. The deal will be officially formalized on Wednesday, after the Lakers make the draft selection for the Thunder. The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in signing Wesley Matthews (who has a $2.7 mill player option for 2020-21 with the Bucks) to replace Danny Green.

    Oklahoma City Thunder get:
    2020 28th overall pick
    Danny Green $15,365,854

The Thunder add another draft pick for their rebuilding effort and it is believed that Green could be used as a trade chip for rebuilding that may be more valuable than Schroder due to his defensive prowess.

                Sacramento gets:
                Donte Divincenzo

                Milwaukee gets:

Now reports say this trade is in jeopardy because the Kings didn't get approval from Bogdanovic before agreeing to the trade.

I didn't think anyone would touch Chris Paul's salary for the next two years. Shows how much I know.

With all the activity, I feel like the Jazz might get involved somewhere as a third party.

I think you enjoy the game more if you don't know the rules. Anyway you're on the same wavelength as the referees. ~Jonathan Davies, 1995
