With his two 3-pointers, Ingles became the first Jazz player in franchise history to hit 200 triples in one season and 39th in NBA history.

Ingles has had at least seven assists in eight of his last 10 games (nine against LA Thursday). He leads Utah in that span in assists per game at 7.8 — three more than the next closest player, Ricky Rubio (4.8).

Despite being the lead assist man for the last 10 games, Ingles is fourth on the team in turnovers per game (2.0) in the same time period.

Thursday was Ingles’ first career game with 10 points, nine assists and two steals.
Joe Ingles is the third left-handed player in NBA history to record 200 threes in a season (James Harden, Isaiah Thomas).

Ingles is one of the few international players to have 200 three pointers in a season. I love Joe. How about his t-shirt that says "Dunk Life". So funny.

In the Jazz broadcast they had Raja Bell on the same 3 point list. They even said Raja's name. I thought everything Raja was banned. Raja is from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Doesn't that make him a U.S. citizen from birth? I just read something that says it does. How does all this work?

That's a good question. From the internet...

They are classified by the United Nations as a Non-Self-Governing Territory, and are currently an organized, unincorporated United States territory. Although they are U.S. citizens, U.S. Virgin Islanders residing in the territory are ineligible to vote for the President of the United States. They are, however, eligible to vote if they become residents of mainland U.S. states.

So he is a U.S. Citizen that grew up in Miami but someone is considering Bell to be an international player? That makes no sense to me. Perhaps someone on the Jazz broadcast end made a mistake.

Maybe you're confusing him with Roger Bell, the guy that used to play for the Jazz?

Jingles just getting swallowed up by George this series.

He is isn't he. We need him to come to life next game. He's been invisible.

They'll play George on Mitchell more next game, and Ingles will hit a bunch of 3's.

This has been the worst 2-game stretch all season for Ingles. I expect his competitiveness to push him to play much better in the next couple of games.

He only made one shot and had a +21 plus/minus ratio - he's having an impact, and we need him out there. If he finds his stroke, Utah is going to be VERY good.

The benefit of sitting on the bench during a 19-0 run by the other team.

Maybe that run wouldn't have been 19-0 if he was on the court.

He's been so great in this series I'm sure it wouldn't have.

Exactly. Plus/minus is a great statistic when looking at the impact of a player over the course of a season, but it can be misleading in a single game.
